Ingredients

  • 1 tray Zenag chicken wings (700g)
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon grated fresh ginger
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley or cilantro, chopped (for garnish, optional)

Method

  1.  Prepare the Chicken Wings:Begin by rinsing the chicken wings under cold water and patting them dry with paper towels. If desired, you can also remove the wingtips, but it’s not necessary.2. Create the Marinade:

In a mixing bowl, whisk together the following ingredients until well combined:
    1/4 cup soy sauce
    1/4 cup olive oil
    1/4 cup honey
    2 cloves garlic, minced
    1 teaspoon grated fresh ginger
    1 teaspoon paprika
    1/2 teaspoon black pepper
    1/2 teaspoon salt
    1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice

    3. Marinate the Chicken:

Place the chicken wings in a large resealable plastic bag or a shallow dish.
Pour the prepared marinade over the chicken wings, ensuring they are evenly coated.
Seal the bag or cover the dish with plastic wrap.
Refrigerate the marinating chicken wings for at least 1 hour, or for the best flavor, marinate them overnight. Turn the wings occasionally to ensure they absorb the flavors evenly.

    4. Preheat the Grill or Oven:

Depending on your cooking method, preheat your grill to medium-high heat (375-400°F/190-200°C) or your oven to 400°F (200°C).
    5. Grill or Bake the Chicken Wings:

If using a grill: Remove the chicken wings from the marinade and place them on the preheated grill. Grill for about 20-25 minutes, turning occasionally, until the wings are fully cooked with a nice char on the outside. Make sure the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
If using an oven: Arrange the marinated chicken wings on a baking sheet lined with aluminum foil or parchment paper. Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, turning them halfway through, until they are cooked through and golden brown.

    6. Garnish and Serve:

Once cooked to perfection, remove the chicken wings from the grill or oven.
For an extra touch of freshness, garnish with chopped fresh parsley or cilantro, if desired.
Serve the marinated chicken wings hot, either as an appetizer or a mouthwatering main dish.
