For more than 75 years, the Zenag family have pioneered poultry innovation in Papua New Guinea. Years of hard work and experience has seen us grow into one of our country’s largest poultry producers.

Our mission is to inspire Papua New Guinea to eat well and live well. We’re committed to bringing families together through high quality produce, and strive to support our community to live their best lives possible through a nourishing diet.

Our high quality products are distributed to supermarkets, wholesalers, food service distributors and farmers across our country.

We carefully control our products through the entire production, processing and distribution supply chain. We farm birds in specialised housing to maximise production efficiencies, while world-class hatchery and processing facilities ensure premium quality from start to finish.

Regular visits by International poultry consultants give us the opportunity to continuously improve our farming technology and upskill our team, ensuring we’re consistently providing our customers the best product possible.

Supporting agriculture in PNG

With a strong commitment to supporting agriculture in Papua New Guinea, we service thousands of SME farmers across the country through our Day Old Chicken Distribution, while our regular farming seminars provide ongoing support to our community.

Quality Assurance

Our farms are closely monitored by farming specialists and experienced supervisors 24 hours a day, to ensure we’re able to process the healthiest product possible.

STRICT BIOSECURITY PROTOCOL

All our farms are completely enclosed and equipped with automatic farming facilities that include feeding and ambient temperature control for minimal human intervention. Our isolated location and strict biosecurity protocol measures prevent the introduction of diseases.

REGULAR EXTERNAL AUDITS

To ensure we’re continuously improving our production practices, our processing and egg grading room are audited by an external 3rd Party, TQCS International, an Australian based auditing and certifying firm. Our production and farming practices are regularly audited by international poultry consultants.

HACCP CERTIFIED

Our Poultry Processing Plant and Egg Grading Plant are HACCP Certified. HACCP is a highly recognized international food safety certification. Our production processes are carefully monitored to ensure the most stringent hygiene requirements are followed and our environmental impact is minimised by the effective control of waste and pollution.

We’re passionate about supporting our local communities. We donate sport equipment and school supplies to local schools, and poultry products to a number of organisations including the cancer society, Angau Hospital, City Mission, Salvation Army and women’s crisis centre.
