TO Be merry is the ultimate goal of the season but it takes more than just gifts to create the moment.

But what is the next best thing, other than gifts? It is definitely food! It also important and polite to say thank you and that was exactly what the producers of Zenag chicken, highlands products Limited (HPL) did for more than 1000 employers at its Zenag Farm in Bulolo. HPL human resources development coordinator Donald Yara on behalf of the company thanked the staff for their effort in making 2021 a successful business year for the company despite the COVID-19 doom and gloom.

“People are the company’s assets.” He said. He said it is the people that built the company by setting the foundation for its growth.

“Giving back to its employees is a way of showing that company cares for its employees,” Mr Yara. A total of 1227 food hampers were given away this year.

“We do this every year for the employees at our farm in mumeng,” he said.

The hampers contain three Zenag Kai with two packs of dozen eggs for every staff.“On behalf of the management of HPL, we wish all our hard-working staff a happy Merry Christmas and a prosperous New Year.” He said.
